Visualizing Matrescence workshop 13 June 2025

Matrescene is the process of becoming a mother. Join a community of mothers tracing their journeys through hands-on artistic practices, such as drawing, text, comics and collage. During the workshop, we will spend time together reflecting on motherhood while also creating art. You will also learn simple ways to document your matrescent experience on your own at home.

The workshop is hosted by the newly opened Mon Village Caîo cafe. It is a cafe and event space focused on mothers and families.
